Mummy little boy is growing up...

We flew back to Kuching to see Samuel last week. We reached Kuching around 9:30pm on Friday night and when we reached home, Samuel already fell asleep. David and I just stand there and looked at him quietly. David then went back to our house in Tiya Vista. Usually David will sleep there every time we go back. But I will just stay at my mom's house.

I thought I could only hug, kiss and play with Samuel the next morning. But he got up in the middle of the night! Luckily I had not sleep yet! Mom said normally he does not wake up in the middle of the night! hahaha... maybe he knew I was there... :) He looked happy when he saw me. He talked to me in his baby language, touched my face and hugged me. We played for a while and put him back to sleep around 11pm. He lied down beside me, really close to me. I said a prayer for him and we fell asleep....

Samuel is 16 months plus now. He can walk on his own, say simple words like go out walk walk, shoes, eat... but all in Foo Chaw... hahaha... Besides that, he can follow simple instruction too! Like, ask him to throw the used baby wipe into the dustbin, hand over the container cover, pick up the his story books or toys from the floor... haha... He is so cute...

Samuel can drink from straw already! Big thank you to my little sister, Christabel. She taught him for 2 days and he picked up the "skill" the 3rd day! hahaha...

Samuel has 8 teeth already, 4 more is coming out real soon. I could see his gum has swollen. Last time when he was still a baby, he would reject milk whenever he was teething. I think maybe he felt painful or something. But Samuel is a strong boy now. This little pain, no big deal la... :)

We only spent merely 2 days with Samuel. Like usual, David's younger brother would come to pick me up from my mom's house. This time was not the same as last time... Samuel cried out loud when he saw us getting into the car... I cried when I saw him crying and waving his hands, like calling for me. I felt so guilty leaving him behind. I called my mom when I reached the airport. Mom said he stopped crying already. But when she asked him, "Samuel, where is Daddy? Where is Mummy?" He would frown, and looked out to the car porch. Mom said he knows... he knows his Daddy and Mummy have gone to work.

Our next trip back will be on 16 April. Yup! We go back once every month. We miss our baby boy very much. However, we plan to bring him over in June. By then, we can see our little sunshine everyday!!
