Dinning at Toilet Bowl Restaurant

We had our dinner at Queensbay Mall, Penang last Sunday. We noticed this cute little retaurant quite some time ago but didn't manage to try out until that day, it's called Toilet Bowl. It's a concept restaurant (主题餐厅).

Little Samuel was happy and excited sitting on the baby chair.

Suddenly I saw this expression on Samuel's face and I heard,"eerrr... errr..."

haha... You're right! Samuel got poo poo la.... And he always make his mouth like that when he is "pushing out" the poo poo... so funny. I left Hubby at the restaurant and brought Samuel to the baby room to clean him up. When we returned, all the food was out already!

Lastly, we had banan split in bath tub for dessert.

Oooo... it was a great weekend!

Durian durian, I love you!

We went to Balik Pulau for durian again last Sunday. This time, Ang, Hubby's colleague brought us to his another class mate's house for durian, not the durian orchard that we went last time. As we reached the house, there was already a group of people in the living room, having durian... Before we went to have the yummy durian, Ang brought us to the back of the house, to walk walk around the house, for some sight seeing.

After the adventurous walk behind the house, we went back to the kitchen. There we saw an aunty was cooking durian cake. To make the durian cake, they need durian flesh and a little bit of sugar. Then cook it on low heat, for 6 long hours, and must stir it so that it will not burn. This is how the durian cake look like after 4 hours of cooking. The color will turn even more brownish once cooked.

We also saw this pot of myristica fragrans (豆蔻) cooking. We had a glass of this, with ice and it was really nice and refreshing.

Finally, it's time to have the durian. Unfortunately, ang heh was out of stock. I could see that Hubby was a bit sad. But we had some other kind of durians and they were good too.

Besides eating there, we also bought 3 durians back and finished them the next day. haha... They're really nice!! Now I am worry about my weight. It's time to work out after all these yummy durians!
